Undo action (Ctrl + Z) in Graph Editor refuses to do anything

Hi there,

I am currently working on an animation for a student project in the latest Maya 2018.2

Just recently I have been working in the graph editor during my Linear pass stage, although I have run into issues involving my undo command.

When I am editing keys in the Graph Editor and have to undo an action, all of a sudden I cant undo anything.

I get no warning message about the queue being turned off because it isn't, and I have my undo history set to infinite.

In my script editor, it is seeing that I am trying to undo, but nothing happens!

Sometimes it seems to work if I alt-click in my view port and just hit Z. Other times I have to click back into the graph editor and only sometimes does it start undoing my actions.

I cannot figure out why its doing this (is it a bug?) and its super stressful since every action I do in the graph editor cannot be undone.

Been playing with settings a bit more, I've had 'Show buffer curves' enabled, which seems to have caused this issue. 

This is really odd since I haven't had this issue before with buffer curves enabled.

So it manages to eventually work, after I hit Ctrl - Z a million times.

Happened to me just now, can;t undo keys. I am getting empty undo command :<

Turns out my issue came from the Long Winter animation rigs. (http://longwintermembers.com/)

Not sure if this problem was ever fixed since I stopped using the rigs after this issue which I in turn stopped getting this undo bug.
