Trouble Deleting Transform Nodes

I'm having trouble while parenting  joints together to build a skeleton.

Maya keeps generating these transform nodes into the outliner hierarchy.

They are very difficult to delete, because they are part of the hierarchy.

Freeze transforms, deleting history, or optimizing scene does not work.

Reads like you have some non-uniform/negative scale on the joint's somewhere, so those groups are inescapable.

Deleting history or optimizing is irrelevant. However, when Freezing transformations, open Options and enable JointOrient.

Anyways, won't be possible to give definite advice on unspecific case. Post zipped MA with those "nasty" transform nodes present, where it is obvious to see what you are trying to do.

Yes I think you are right about the negative values.
I received a possible solution by searching on ------>

( great site). To eliminate creating transform nodes while connecting joint
chains: select joints>
Skeleton> connect joint> options> parent. Seems to be working so far.

I unparented the joint from the main joint and then did as you ask and it stopped making transforms in the ourliner.

Huge Thanks to you
