seeing what is rendered

Hello, I am quite new to Maya and was wondering if someone could help?

When I am setting up cameras and selecting the camera view, I am able to see what the camera sees, except for the fact that I can also see above and below, what is rendered out.

Rather than seeing the 1920 x 1080 frame that will be rendered when i render out, I am see something more like 1920 x 3000, so I can see above and below, what the 1920 x 1080 frame will see when rendered out. Is there a button to stop this, so I can see what the actual frame will see when i render out.

Please help

Make sure "resolution gate" and "film gate" and "gate mask" are turned off.Screenshot (98).png
