Maya 2022.1/2020 , I'm rigging v4 engine and Piston shaft rig , I've used aim and point constraint

but they are not working properly, problem is Shaft is sliding, See the Video file.

if I drive the main shaft in a single frame by hand rotating on Z it works properly. but in animation it slides.

or please Help me how to rig right way I've tried joint and IK handle but Still piston Shaft Slides.

That is not so trivial to rig this with precision. Your rig doesn't work, because there is a cyclic dependency between those two locators: A follows B position while determining the angle of B's parent, which in turn influences B's position.

Anyways, here's RiggingDojo's tut https://youtu.be/goKGOwgh52I

Or if you wan't more techy approach, then go for TechArtAndStuff's tut http://techartandstuff.blogspot.com/2011/11/cranks-and-pistons-in-maya.html
