Retarget Animation from a Skeleton which has Spine unparented to Hip

Hi, i have a walk animation on a game's skeleton which i want to retarget. However, the Spine is not parented to the Hip. Instead, they are both parented to a Root bone.

Ive tried to retarget it (in Iclone) by setting Retargeted skel's Hip as Root bone. But then, there isnt any rotational anim on the Root, so the retargeted anim lacks hip movement.

On the other hand, setting the Retargeted skel Hip as Hip bone creates severe spine issues, since the Spine bones arent connected to the Hip bone.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Ive attached the Walk Anim file below for reference. Thanks!

Nvm, I solved it parenting the Spine to the Hip, then transferring anim from the orig skel to the new one via Blender Bone constraints
