Replace the original Maya file with rigs instead of "Reference Editor" with animation already created.

Is it possible to replace the original Maya file with rigs instead of "Reference Editor" into Maya file that I've animation in "Graph Editor" already created? The original Maya file is used in "Reference Editor".

I've tried to import the original Maya file into Maya file with reference but it doesn't connect with "Graph Editor"?

I've worked on Graph Editor for animation on Maya file with "Reference Editor" so that makes it two Maya files.

I just wanted one file with rigs and animation > "Graph Editor" intact.

What is the best way to do that?

Maya file with "Reference Editor": AlmaBermingham_Animation_Cycle_V30
Original file: AlmaBermingham_V252_FL

In those example files the rig is referenced into the scene which is generally the right way to do it. If you need the rig to be imported into the scene and you want to keep the animation you already did you can do this:

It is solved and thank you for your prompt reply.

Yes, I agree the correct way with the example files the rig is referenced into the scene which is generally the right way to do it. I was asked to send one Maya file for this one.
