Optimization Challenge with Multiple Animations and Blend Shapes for Unity Game

Hi everyone,
I am a 3D animator working in Maya, creating character animations for a Unity game. The game needs to be lightweight, and I have over 15 animations for the character, which include facial expressions that I made using blend shapes.
To preserve the blend shape animations, I’ve been exporting each animation as an individual FBX file, but this process results in a large number of FBX files, which significantly increases the game's size. Managing multiple files is becoming cumbersome, and it's making the project heavier than intended.
Is there a way to either:
- Optimize the blend shape animations across all animations?
- Combine all animations into a single FBX file while still preserving the blend shapes without significantly impacting the game's size?
Any advice on improving the workflow or reducing the game file size while maintaining animation quality would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
