I modeled a character and made facial expressions for it in shape editor- these work as they should, but my professor told me that i needed to add eyebrows to my character. I did, and I'm currently attempted on making expressions for the eyebrows in shape editor. They show that they are the target, but are not being affected by the editor when I use the slider. I'm unsure of how to fix this problem, as eyebrows are a requirement.

Did you made the modifications (tweaked the eyebrow geo) after adding that target? The Edit button next to it should have been lit red, the slider set to 1.0 -> Modify the mesh, test morphing with slider, deactivate Edit. Presto!

Okay, so turns out the problem I was having was me being an idiot. I was unaware that blendshapes operated on altering vertices. I was attempting to alter faces instead. thanks for your help though!

Actually, whatever you modified, should make no difference - whether you alter edges, faces or verts, the result is vertice offset.
