HumanIK Control bug

I'm not getting the Green dots after defining the skeleton and locking. Is this bug or is something missed?

Take look at image of my Control Rig after the skeleton has been defined and locked with the green feedback of body and foot missing, versus the image from maya doc's: Maya Help | Controls tab | Autodesk

You can't right click on the circles to select effector either. How to get this to update correctly?

Trying to achieve same things as another post:

Human IK, using BOTH a Control Rig (FK/IK) & a Custom Rig together - Autodesk Community - Maya

What is this process to have the Controls working with the Custom Rig at time 8:00 as in the autodesk video?  https://youtu.be/eBwYi8FeK3I

The custom rig needs to retarget the animation to a normal rig, such as an Adv Skel. This is an additional control over the existing rig controls.

Thanks for the reply! I tried it with mocap as the Source but it still stays blank. I can click anywhere in the dark area to show the IK controls but can't select any of the circle areas and they're not green. This seems like bad refresh bug?

I guess the problem with the HIK tool is it hasn't been updated since 2013. Like having the ability to handle both fk and ik controls for the arms/legs in a custom rig.

Everything must work fine. I made a simple video.
