Help with tutorial

Hello, 

I came across this tutorial on how to set up an eye rig using two locators and parenting. I followed it closely and tried it multiple times. But I'm not getting the same result. When I use the locator to rotate the eye, it doesn't work as shown in the tutorial. The sphere flips like a coin and doesn't deform. Could someone please let me know what I'm missing or doing wrong? Thanks!

This tutorial is driving me nuts! I'm doing exactly what the guy is doing with the parenting. But I am not getting the same results.

I figured it out. It might be a bug. I tried out this tutorial on a 2024 version and it worked. I then reinstalled 2025 and it worked.
