Gone missing IK ctrl

I'm doing a walking animation in a lesson. The author copied the animation from the other leg to another. Repeated. But on the other leg, the controller disappeared. What could be the reason?

try to select it in the outliner, and hit "F". Probably the control flew away.

thanks for the answer. the problem was that the visibility parameter had keys
