I've been experiencing an issue that no one I've talked to can recreate. It seems to effect only my computer. As stated, this issue only occurs when cached playback is off and the reason I prefer to work with cached off is to prevent my memory cache from filling up. If the memory cache fills up, the frames stop loading and I have the same issue as when the cached playback is off. When I apply animation, as little as 2 saved frames, the character rig's lower half somehow becomes immune to the animation and remains completely still or glitches wildly, morphing the character's geography. (I have videos showing the glitch and will post the link at the end)
This issue is mostly happening to one character rig, but the second character rig is also experiencing some glitching. I have ruled out that it is the rig itself as I have tried re-downloading the rig. I have ruled out that the file is corrupted because others have opened the exact file on their computers and everything works properly. I have ruled out that it is the animation as I conducted a test in a fresh scene where I set only two animation keyframes and the glitch occurs as soon as the second keyframe is set. I have also tried un-installing and then re-installing Maya to no avail.
This issue started about a week or two into the project and has continued for a couple months. My RAM is 12gb; between the minimum and recommended amount for Maya. I don't know what else could be causing this issue, especially since no one has been able to re-create it on their end. Has anyone else experienced this before?
