Unrecognized node type for node Maya 2017 Workaround

Hello! Hope someone can help me here or provide a workaround. Currently I am importing .step files into Maya 2015 with a plugin called nPowerTranslator - after the import I want to use the data in Maya 2017 because I am using Arnold for rendering. Now the problem is when I open the file in Maya 2017 there are hundreds of warnings like this: "Warning: line 0: Unrecognized node type for node 'nPowerAssembly2323'; preserving node information during this session." I am aware that it is a problem because the plugin is not installed  for Maya 2017 (it is not available at the time).

Is there a workaround so I dont get the warnings or should I just ignore them?

Thanks for the help and the answers in advance!

Those warnings are normal, as you mentioned, some modules load before others and thus they give a warning.  once you Maya is open and you re-open a file, these warnings should lessen.  If you have an "error" then I would worry.about it.  I do apologize for the inconvenience of all these warnings yet it is the same on my side, and beyond just being a script editor clutter at launch your Maya 2017 should work with out any issues.

As far as your PowerTranlator nodes, these are not recognized by Maya natively, yet you should be OK..  The same happens with people whom use RedShift and pass a file on to snomeone else, it will be full of nodes which Maya, without the plugin can't make heads or tails out of.

Thank you for reporting this, and best of luck on your projects.
