Switch to next / previous frame outside the playback range

Hi, animating on Maya 2020, I am trying to go to frames outside the playback range using the hotkeys. Let's say my playback range is 1 > 24, I would like to be able to go to frame 25 and beyond using the hotkeys but right now, when it reaches the boundary, the next frame hotkey just goes back to frame 1. It did not use to behave like this by default on previous Maya versions. How do I change this ?

Hi!

This is a new feature in Maya 2020 and can be disabled.

Just check in the Preferences for "Loop play range when stepping frames and keys" for the Time Slider.
