SOLVED: Delete non deformer history on the rigged objext.

PRIOR ISSUE:

I bought a book rig and brought in textures from Substance Painter using the SP plug-in in Maya. Moving the book cover with the rig handle caused the texture to 'swim' (see the video, left bottom).

(view in My Videos)

The original rig had the book cover geo as such (see attached): [on the right side] Display, Drawing Overrides set to Reference with a referenced linked to it. To access the book cover, I had to disconnect that Reference and set it to Normal. I have attached my Hypershade layout (generated by the Substance Painter plugin).

BTW, I see that others posted similar things but the method shared that I read (Convert File to Texture w/Maya Software) didn't work - created a black texture. I also cannot delete history without breaking the rig.

I am using Maya 2027.1 | Mac OS
