Objects deform when they are rotated after rigging

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to make a really simple character only using primitive shapes and I need to rig them. Everything works fine, I place the bones, skin the object. I even deleted history but it doesn't work. Whenever I rotate the rig the obcject gets deformed  until it's back to it's prior state.

This could possibly be a skin weight distribution issue. If you will be able to share the file I can take a look into it.
