My bookmarks disappeared from the node editor..

Hi everyone, I'm having a tough issue right now so I hope you can help me.
I rigged en entire character last month including face, switch Ik / Fk, expressions.. And made a few well organised bookmarks in the node editor for each parts that was needing it.
Today I wanted to reuse this nice rig to apply it on another character, but fist I had to do some modifications.
So I wanted to disconnect the controllers from my bones, and when I opened my Node editor, everything was gone 😭

On thing is sure, the bookmarks were there last time that I opened my file.

But, in the meantime, because of an fbx export issue, I followed an advice saying to reset preferences (it was on another file).

So, could the problem come from there ? because I have no clue about where it could come from..
And, is there anyway to get my bookmarks back from my file ?

Thank you in advance for your help, if there is no solution, I know that I can get all the hierarchy back, it's just that I like to work on clean and organised files, and I am pretty desperate that I have to reorganize all the bookmarks again..

If there are no bookmarks anymore then they have been removed from the file or are no longer connected to the node editor(some sort of file corruption).

Please provide a scene-file for further help.

Hi mspeer, thanks for the answer and here is the file. 

The other thing is that I have two copies in different folders, and the two have lost the bookmarks, which is why I thought it could be the result of resetting something in Maya..

This scene-file does not contain any bookmarks.

You either deleted them or did some sort of export/import task for your model, which will not keep the bookmarks.

I wonder how any of this happened on two different files containing this final rig but I guess you must be right..
Well, I guess that I will make a 3rd file next time haha

Hi!

Usually the default cameras are on top in the Outliner, that's not the case for your scene, so I guess at any time you opened an "exported" file instead of a "saved" file and the exported file only had the model inside but not the bookmarks.

Sometimes disappears mine too. If it's seen in the outliner (unchecking show DAG objects only), and you can't see it on the timeslider, reopening the file (ctrl+O) solves it. I don't know what the problem is.

Hey - yes @mspeer is right. If you delete/reset your prefs (personally I rename them just in case I still need them), the bookmarks should still be there.

If you exported your file at some point as FBX, you will lose the Bookmarks. Did you export, import, and then save the attached file as a .mb? Thanks, Catherine
