Hello everyone,
me and some of my fellow students designed a Unity project which we use to display and analyse mocap data.
We recently decided it would be awesome to add a physiological correct model with realistic bone and muscle movement. So i dove right into Maya...
Now i got the 2 problems:
I got a rigged skeleton model. I added muscles modles to it and bound them to the rig aswell. This way i could connect the tendons to my skeleton model.
- As you can see in the screenshots the tendons deform okayish, but the muscle doenst deform at all. When i add Skin Weight to the muscle, it bends in a wrong manner. So i need a way to make the muscle perform a contraction movement. How can i do that?
- Since im going to export the model to Unity, the solution has to translate to Unity. I'm scared if putting a lot of effort into learning how to use Deform/Muscle and find out that it wont actually export to Unity.
