Maya how to hide vertex from render

I am rendering a scene, but my camera got blocked by the wall,

so I use the h key to hide vertex that block the camera,

but it still render the vertexex that I hide,

my camera is still blocked, 

I am using maya 2023 trial and arnold renderer

please help
