Maya graph editor problem

I've created an animation in maya, and I'm trying to adjust my spline in the graph editor, however when I select a point to adjust, it will move, but then the entire spline will jump up a few increments.

Everytime I move the spline this happens. What's more is that my animation isn't changed at all, other that the single point I moved. So when the entire spline bounces around, it doesn't actually affect real values.

When I open this file on other machines with Maya it does the same thing, but only with this file, which tells me it might be a setting problem with this single file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is that you enabled normalized curve display.  This option forces your curves to visually display between values of 0 to 1.  There are little buttons at the top of the graph editor next to the magnet ones, they have lines crossing each other.  Try selecting your curves and hitting "Disable normalized curve display".
