HELP: duplicating my rig with the duplicate special rig isn't working

I am trying to duplicate my rig but when I duplicate special with input graph the rig goes all wried and I don't know whats going on please help. I am used the latest version of maya

Is there a reason you have to duplicate the rig?  If it's 2 identical rigs you want, why not just import in the same rig?

I am following a tutorial and it says to duplicate special to I can mirror over the hand right with its driven keys

Ok.  In my experience, the duplicate special is hit or miss.  Especially if you have things with a lot of dependencies.  I will generally try to use it.  And if it succeeds, great.  If not, I script the process.
