I do not understand the problem, the controllers are Parented, i correctly follow the Youtube videos that does the exact same thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahgIOJysSHg

Whenever i need to animate the controllers do not move as expected. only the one parented to the controller will move. Steps are:

1) Click on top controller (the shoulders)

2)key frame (pressed S button)

3) Click on others for animation reasons so they dont move wildly during other times of the keyframe

4)Key frame other controllers(pressed S button)

5) move 10 frames

6) Move the top controller and see the error unfold as all other controllers do not follow like in the video.

Yes the nurbs are correct place, yes they are zero reset, yes the character weight is correct, yes the settings for parent is off-set, yes i tested on maya 2026 and 2024 not a software issue i assume, yes i reset maya to defult, yes i rebuild it and yes i looked online for answers but there is no answer to why a correctly placed rig model is having these problems and yes im a bit experience in building rig and this is the first time i encounter this error for absolutely no reason. Yes this doesn't happen in other modeling scenes they are fine, this is the only one with such problem. Lastly yes i click everything keyframe trick to assume it might work it did not.

so ya im lost as to why this is happening at this point.

Hi!

This description sadly doesn't really give anything to go on to help you. We don't know what your "expected" movement is. Also step 3) isn't really understandable, why are they "Moving wildly"?

My guess would be, that something is blocking the input transforms of your control (a constraint, direct connection, setDrivenKey, etc) so they can't be connected by Maya to the keyframe you created. But I really can only guess with the information you have given.

Could you attach your scene or a video of what is happening, so we can analyse it?
