Bug : extending joint chain does not work anymore

Hello,

I past version, one could create a joint chain, then press enter to finish it. Then one could use again the "create joint" button and click the last joint in the chain, so that the joint chain would be extended.

This ceased to work in Maya 2023.3 (from what I remember) and now I'm using Maya 2024.1 but the bug is still there. Anybody else having the same problem?

Thanks,

DS

Well you can extend a joint chain if you click the "create joint" button and then click the last joint in the chain, IN THE OUTLINER, not in the viewport. But still, is this a bug or a feature?

I noticed this as well but thought it was just me.  I had no time to think about it so moved on.  Until now when I saw your post.  I think it's a bug.  But then again, Maya is always changing things that worked well when they version up.  Really sucks losing a lot of useful workflows.
