Active Key Ticks Preference resets every time I open Maya

Preferences --> Time Slider --> Key Ticks --> Active

Every time I reopen Maya, this option is turned off. It should save automatically but it does not. Resetting preferences does not help.

once tic the key 'Active'  you save the  settings once manually. then only it will active . otherwise it will not. pls save it once and try.
