Students unable to run Lighting Analysis under the Edu accounts

It looks like we're not the only ones running into this since most of the latest posts to this forum are about not being able to run lighting analysis jobs in the cloud for free with student accounts.  We have a course running right now that ran fine last year but now students are all being told they'll need to purchase cloud credits to run the analysis.  IMHO, this is not a great move if Autodesk wants us to continue to teach students how to use their products.  The faculty member is looking for alternatives.  Has anyone figured out a way around this?  Thanks for any suggestions!

Well, I finally got a response to my ticket with Autodesk letting me know they released Revit 2023.1.1.  It did not fix the issue.  I tried from a fresh install with no previous Autodesk products and it still shows the same error:

This is while signed in with an Edu-linked account.

I have the same issue. This is very unfortunate if Autodesk took this feature away from students

While I wish I could say "Yes, Autodesk resolved the issue!", sadly that is not the case.  The faculty member teaching the course ended up using SketchUp + Sefaira in the course instead.  It was not 'free', but once we added up all of the time spent troubleshooting this issue (and still didn't have a resolution), it was the more cost-effective option.
