I was able to run a Lighting Analysis in the cloud, but got the following message when trying to load it:

What does this mean and how to solve it?

I have already deleted and reinstalled the newest Insight (4.0.3.5) and rebooted the computer several times.

Revit 2020.

Thanks!

Try the upcoming new installer from here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/s6n4iscqyymqcd4/Insight_Addin_v4040.zip?dl=0

If that doesn't work, please send log files for the project from <MyDocuments>/Autodesk/RevitDaylighting to insight360.support@autodesk.com.

I am having the same issue, using Insight_Addin_2020_v4040.exe, not from dropbox, though. Also I have sent the log file to the email above. Any news on this issue? I have a deadline coming so I need to know if I have to look for another solution.

For anyone seeing this error:

  1. Update to the latest installer (at least v4.040) from https://insight360.autodesk.com/oneenergy/Landing/Download
  2. If still seeing this error, please send log files and, if possible, your model to insight360.support@autodesk.com.

Thanks,

David

Hi all.

There are two cases where this exception message shows up.

1.  Cloud time out for versions prior to 4.040.  Update to the latest to resolve.

2.  Issue is related to a new feature to clip points close to the edge of Room or Floor boundaries.  An upcoming release will resolve this, but meanwhile you can do a workaround as follows:

  1. Open the Settings dialog (gear icon from any of the Lighting windows)
  2. Set the 'Edge buffer distance' to 0, and uncheck the 'auto' option.
  3. Select your run and 'Generate Results'
I'll let you all know when I have a new release ready that will handle edge-clipping on all models.

Here's a link to the new installer v4.042 that should fix the 2 issues mentioned here:
