The 12-inch grid will have more analysis points used for the analysis, and therefore a higher resolution and slightly more accurate results. The 12-inch grid will also cost more cloud credits because of the higher number of analysis points. In many cases the 72-inch grid may be free and is a good starting point to see how your project is doing with daylighting potential.
