Run iLogic rules in linked files

Anonymous

I have numerous assemblies linked to my top level assembly through it's parameters (as below) and I use iLogic to swap them in and out.Inca X linked assemblies.JPG

The assemblies currently in my top level share a lot of sub-parts with the linked assemblies, so when the geometry of those parts are altered through my iLogic form I lose constraints etc within the linked assemblies. Assumingly because they are not open/within my top level model their rules are not triggering, so I have to open them manually and run the rules manually.

Any idea's on how I can get the rules to trigger on these linked assemblies even though they are not open?

Just to note, I get notified of the constraint errors of the linked assemblies through the Design Doctor even though they are not open.

Hope this makes sense, please ask if I need to explain more as. Its bugging me massively!!
