Retrieve Part Face in Assembly with Revolve Feature

Hi,

I am trying to retrieve a face in an assembly.  The assembly file contains one part which is a disc (a simple of example of my problem).

In the assembly file the outer diameter of the disc is reduced using a revolve feature (to simulate a machining operation).

To test my code I have been highlighting the face which the code selects. The problem is that the when the code selects the proxy it highlights the full part face without the material removed by the revolve feature

What would I have to add to my code to select the face which has been cut revolve feature? 

I've attached the files I've used and the code is contained in an illogic rule.

no, i did not find a good solution to this 😞

normally now i just include a sketch line if experience this problem and dimension to that.
