Anyone interested in developing a custom tapped hole feature add-in?
We basically need a means to populate the hole feature dialogue box with a predetermined set of choices and values...
The idea was sprung from establishing a tighter control on hole features for such things like Helical inserts. This add-in would need to drive the hole feature dialogue box by a front end UI that essentially reduces the hole feature variables, there by increasing the consistency of things like drill depths vs tapped depths, accompanying cbores and csinks for our typical company std helical inserts sizes...as well as predetermining the max and min depths for a std tapped hole.
