May I use Visual Studio Express 2015 with Inventor 2017 on Windows 10

Inventor 2017

Want to install Visual Studio express for iLogic development.

Found and tried to install Visual Stuido Express 2015 (Desktop)

BUT of cause the installation failed, complaining about a earlier version of C++

Is it worth the trouble to try to get it working or should I go for an earlier

version of "...Express"?

I would recommend the 2015 community edition.. it's also free

As the express is NOT listed as download in the Visual Studio Downloads page. Maybe a full uninstall will be of help?

You should try it uninstall the .NET framework in windows before installing VS.
Inventor 2015 installation had the same problem too with 4.5 .NET Framework
