Link an Attribute to Drawing Note Text

I am working on a macro to allow our users to create leader notes on drawings for parts that are used in an electromechanical link (Display the Tag ID, manufacturer, and the catalog number).

The electromechanical tool stores information in attributes applied to occurrences at the assembly level.  I have figured out how to get the information and put it a leader note text field, cool.  Now I'm working how to keep it up to date.  My original thought was an add-on program that updates it.  But now I'm wondering if there is a way to place a link to the attribute in the leader note in the formatedtext field much like the normal text dialog does with a model property.  In which case it would keep itself up to date.

Thanks for any help

@saainsworth,

As per below documentation link, there is no Inventor API support to call attributes into formatted text of drawing notes.
