Hi all,
I'm having an issue regarding supressing a component pattern in a dynamic assembly I have made for a staircase. In a form, the user can choose from Left or Right handrail stanchions and handrail tubing, the stanchions are patterned along the stringer using values calculated in the rule. My issue is that when the pattern is supressed, and I go from 2 elements in the pattern and increase to 3, 4, 5, etc, those new elements are not supressed, only the elements that existed before are supressed see image below.
The user has 4 options for stanchions to select also in the screenshot below, this problem only persists for the "Left" or "Right" handrail cases. I use a Select Case function to supress the required components for each case. I feel my iLogic code is correct and I'm not sure where the error is. Even if make a new rule and just try to supress the pattern that will partially supressed, it will not supress it.
If someone could give me an idea of a way to fix this or advice on how to format my iLogic to prevent these sorts of errors I'd really appreciate it, thanks a mill.
