Hello all,
We have assemblies that are automated using ilogic and have a form that a user fills out to generate 3D models accordingly and selected parts or entire assemblies to be saved as step files etc.
Now I have been asked by my client, if there is a way that, we can show that form to users landing on our website, where users can fill out the form and get the desired results, such as getting the 3D model according to configuration in the form, adding to cart the desired parts, etc.
I understand it would require an instance (or multiple instances of Inventor) running on our servers, allowing users to get and fill up the form and generate 3D models accordingly, and view and manipulate them.
So, I am wondering if it is possible at all? I am familiar with Autodesk Forge and have used it, and that's the last option for us to go to. I am just wondering if it's possible to do it all in-house without using any 3rd party service.
