Inventor 2023 Crash when after calling the devexpress SplashScreenManager.Close(false)

Hi, I have an inventor add-in and I'm using devexpress as my UI controls.

It seems Inventor 2023 is crashing if my add-in is closing the WaitFormControl under SplashScreenManager.Close(false).

I attach some of the exception messages and code snippets.

Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.

I've reported a similar issue with Inventor 2022.  Looking at the exception details the exception occurs in the Web Browser component embedded in Inventor (CefSharp). I would get a similar crash in a DevExpress based add-in if Inventor's Team Web was opened before any Inventor documents. Since it was not an exception in the add-in it was not practical to chase it down. Opening any Inventor document first negated the issue. It does seem to be a conflict between a DevExpress component and the CefSharp component.  Are you using the DevExpress 21.1.5 libraries with your Inventor 2023 add-in?

Do you have a license to use devexpress or can you just use it cause its included in inventor? Been looking to try it out but not yet convinced to buy the license..

You do need a developer license from DevExpress and they have a number of levels of subscription. High quality tools and very good customer service.
