Initiating placement in Inventor Drawing

Hi,

I am developing an add-in for Inventor, in that I need to initiate placement for an ipt file (placed on file system) to currently active drawing document opened in Inventor. I have created similar add-ins for Civil 3D and Revit. And I am pretty new to Inventor. So, any suggestions to explore the APIs would also be helpful.
