Ilogic ... switch Sketch symbol "A" TO "B"

I've been looking for a bit and have zero luck ...

I'm looking for a way to change a note that was set up as a Sketch symbol ..I want to change the note "Sand Lightly" to say "Anodize"

I have the insert a certain sketch symbol Weld or schweißen     ...just need it to delete option "weld" if it's in the IDW already and insert Sketch Symbol "schweißen" or vice versa

Yes this is possible. 

There is no "swap", but you can grab the symbol, pull the position/rotation/leader info from in and use that in inserting your new symbol.

You can also just go through the current symbols, get the string of text that resides within the textbox and use the [STRING].Replace(ReplaceThis, WithThis) functionality available in vb

What I'm trying to do is ...

I'd like to say if value "a" is true then replace it with symbol "b"   

The issue is ..I need to have a flip option for German and English.   We have a few designers and shops we use in the US...and 200 plus in Germany. So right now anything we do in the US, we have to translate manually. However we're expanding in the US so we're sourcing more work here.   I have the title block swapping/toggling with Ilogic, just not the finish notes.     The reason we don't just replace them completely to English is if we design something here in the US, I may have to build it in Germany, so I need the notes in German..     which means more manual translating or changing.

For each sketchsymbol
If SketchSymbol.Name = a
oNewPos = SketchSymbol.Position
SketchSymbols.Add(SketchSymbol B, oNewPos)
.... and so on


If you have leaders attached that becomes a fair bit lengthier.
