I have just begun trying to create template drawings for one of our products. I want to have a bunch of standard drawings that will update their view scales based on the size of my adaptable model.
Our products are completely custom so I can't follow some lessons I have learned about making "If Then" statements to adapt the scale. I just want my views to fit on the page nicely regardless of the product size, and have the scale be a whole number not 0.98351321 : 1
When using 2D AutoCAD LT, I would simply use trial and error to pick through a list of scale factors until the view fit the way I wanted it to. I would like iLogic to do this for me. I read a different post similar to this using a "perfect view" and having to input that views dimension into API but that is not necessary for me. It just needs to look good.
I am using Inventor 2016. Any help is greatly appreciated.
