Custom Macro Button not displayed

Hi All,

So I followed the instructions from the website underneath. I have Module1 with a Public Sub to run my external iLogic Rule. it says to put two logos sizes with a specific name format in the ivb folder. I restarted my computer, but the logos I created is not shown. The old standard logo remains visible.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!

I will advise you to check the location of the logo files, pixel size, extension, and name of the files. If you can post some snaps, it will be easy to troubleshoot. Make sure the pixel size and names match.

Try restarting Inventor once. Also, check this post out as well.

Hope it helps.

2. My Macro with name "Custom" can be found in Tools>Customize>Macros, and I added the macro to the ribbon.

3. I have two bitmaps in ivb location, found via Application Options:

- Module1.Custom.Small.bmp (properties checked 32x32 pixels)

- Module1.Custom.Large.bmp (properties checked 16x16 pixels)

4. restarted Inventor

5. standard logo remains visible, no Custom logo.

@joris.engelbertink

Can you try removing your button from Ribbon, close Inventor, restart it and again add button to the ribbon?? It generally shows the preview directly in the customize menu from where the macro is added.

See if it helps. I created a logo recently, Now I don't have my laptop with me so i can look my settings in next week see what is wrong.

Hope this helps.
