I want to extrude the grey block to the torus so that it will look like in torus_final_extrusion.png. I am using SetToExtent() in order to achieve this. However Inventor 2022 creates the extrusion as seen in torus_bad_extrusion.png. Now i have found the switch "alternate solution" which fixes the problem (see torus_alt_mode_extrusion.png). However there is no such switch in the API. I have tried SetFromToExtent() also which gives the same result. SetToNextExtent() seems to work but i have cases, where there are other faces in the way so this function ist not suitable for me.
