Control part linetype in drawing view by way of an ipart custom property

Hi, hope someone can help with my query:-

I am trying to develop a macro (i'm a macro novice) which controls the linetype display in a drawing view. I want to 'tone down' certain components by applying reduced lineweight, and 'enhance' others by showing hidden detail. The ones which I want to enhance have a custom iproperty and I hope to be able to use this custom iproperty to select the relevent parts.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

You can place the geometry that belongs to a given component onto different layers with different line types:

I hope this helps,
