Constrain an assembly vertical

Good day all

I am making a basic crane assembly, I am try to add a Ilogic wire (wire part) so that when I boom the crane angle the wire will basically stay straight and not follow the rotation. I am not to sure if I should constrain it to a created plane (Tried but failed) or join it in a certain way ?  Any advise or help would be greatly appriciated.

Hi @coffeeoffshore

I would recommend follow the same procedure of how you would do this manually.  I think this would be just a angle constraint to keep the witlre parralel to your desired angle. Or else a mate constraint depending on how your part is set up. Any ilogic influence will be just the automation of manual methods.
