Configurator360 and GoExcel. Supported or not?

In online help for Configurator360 (http://help.autodesk.com/view/CFG360/ENU/?guid=GUID-96EA0CAA-73BB-42C2-94D8-73CC76791DC7) it says:

• Configurator 360 does not allow the following in iLogic rules: MessageBox, MsgBox, InputBox, GoExcel, COM Excel functions

But GoExcel.TitleRow, GoExcel.FindRow and GoExcel.CurrentRowValue seems to work fine. Does the online help need an update, or should I avoid using GoExcel? I have tested with Inventor 2018.

This post explains it all. GoExcel READ functions work fine, but you can't WRITE to an Excel file (or any other Office file I believe) because Excel is not actually installed on the C360 server machine, Autodesk use a third party library to access the contents of the Excel file non-natively.
