is it possible to create a custom symbol for my balloon?

You can make a sketched symbol with a prompted entry or use it to read a property from the part it's attached to. Is this what you mean? Or do you want to make a custom shape for the standard Inventor balloon?

Hi Akosi,

Give a try at "Balloon.SetBalloonType" method with BalloonType = kSketchedSymbolBalloonType.

Here are the comments from the help files:

BalloonTypeData

Optional input data associated with certain balloon types. If the balloon type is kSketchedSymbolBalloonType, this argument requires a SketchedSymbolDefinition object. Else, this argument is ignored.
