Add Welding Symbols with ilogic

Hi there,

I am trying to add / edit welding symbols on a drawing with iLogic. I can't seem to find any information on how to do this.

I have managed to add / edit dimensions and feature control frames but cannot fine the object for welds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi johnster100,

Last time I looked into this issue it seemed there was no way to access the weld symbols via the API.

You can try creating your own sketched symbols. This may be a way for you. You can find some reference about working with the object SketchedSymbol here:

it seems strange that there is not really a way to automate a drawing which requires welding symbols. Could anyone at Autodesk advise if this functionality will be coming anytime soon?

It's a pretty major requirement for any fabrication drawing.

Add Surface Texture Symbol = It would be a great benefit to use this functionality via iLogic as well
