Use VBA to assemble 2 parts in an assembly

Setup iMate?

Using VBA or API to mate means you need to 'pick' the feature to mate on both parts without seeing what you're picking.

A bit more info on what you want to do would help.

I am currently developping a "Typical Generator" which permit us to generate and assemble automatically clamps to pipes.

When clicking on "EXPORT TO INVENTOR", The suitable clamp is insert into the assembly and I'd like to assemble this clamps to the pipe with and circular constraint.

The pipe is a surface, not and volume.

I've done the insertion of the suitable clamp, now my problem is to assemble the both parts ...
