update code in inventor API

Hello Everyone,

i am using VB to fully control assemblies within Inventor 2009, however most of the time once the assembly is loaded, it requires an UPDATE.
i need to know how to activate an UPDATE within inventor 2009 via VB.
Please remember that VBA codes for an update is not the same as VB code.

Please Help. Any suggestion could lead me to an answer.

Have you tried the AssemblyDocument.Update method?
