I'm fairly new to Model States and using iLogic so any help would be great!
I have an assembly called assembly 1 which contains 'Part1'.
The assembly has 2 model states which control the length of Part 1 using ModelParameter called 'ChannelLen'
state 1: ChannelLen = 5"
state 2: ChannelLen= 10"
This works fine and updates the Part 1 length based on the selected Model State in assembly 1.
Now when I insert 'assembly 1' into a new assembly called 'assembly 2' and try to toggle between the different model states of assembly 1, the part 1 length in assembly 1 does not change!
I tried suppressing other parts in assembly 1 using model states and that works fine when switching model states in assembly 2 but the length does not seem to update.
It either selects 10in / 5in as the length for both states in assembly 2.
I'm sure there is a way (maybe using iLogic), but I just cannot figure it out.....
Please let me know if anyone can help!
