threading a part

Im trying to thread a nut but I cant put any threads on the nut itself. I don't know what i'm doing wrong but iv'e been trying for hours and dont know what to do. Someone please help!!!

From the modify tab, select Thread then select the face you wish to apply the thread to and then update the details in the dialogue box. This will show a thread representation. If you want to show an actual thread, download the threaded modeller app, but be aware that showing an actual thread will increase the size of your part file. See the attached screen shots. Hope this helps
