hi i am trying to emboss text on cylindrical surface i create a plane and go to sketch mode when i choose the text in create tab and high lite the square box formatting text windows appear i type the text and when i project it on the object it be come too small.there are dialog boxes for width and length of the text in format text window but the list dimension are too small and selecting them is ineffective. is there a solution for this issue can it be done with inventor i am trying writing on a tank which is 1.5 meter height and 2 meter diameter cylinder i want to put text and line to show the incremental volume and the purpose of each level with text
When you're in the Format Text dialog box, highlight your text then type the size you want in the Size field. You don't have to use one of the pre-defined sizes in the drop-down.
